Hello friends! We are so excited to share our December Booklist with you. Our family has so many happy memories of being cuddled up underneath a blanket or sitting around the table while the smell of baking cookies fills the house; as we read these wonderful books together. I have already pulled several from our shelf to read again this year!
In these books you will find stories of faith, tradition, family, folklore, nature and more.
I love watching our December Booklist grow along with the children. Every year it seems we find another treasured title to add to our December Booklist. While my children are getting older, we still enjoy reading beautiful picture books which is why I have included so many here.
We hope you will enjoy these books as much as we have!

December Booklist: What’s On Yours?
What’s on your December Booklist? I would love to hear about your favorite books and any traditions you have surrounding them. Do you read, An Orange for Frankie and make dried Orange Garlands for your tree or mantle? Or perhaps, you’ll read The Message of the Birds and make bird feeders with gelatine, bird seed, cookie cutters, and twine? December is such a fun month for homeschooling. Our family really leans into literature based learning, crafting, and baking. We also lean into rest. Read more about how we approach Christmas School on the blog.
